A: When assembled, the pot is 1000mm in diameter and 450mm high. Packed down, it fits into a 150mm x 500mm dry bag, making it one of the most compact full-sized pots available.

Q: What comes with the kit?
A: Each kit includes the collapsible crab pot, a waterproof dry bag (float), 10m of reinforced rope, and a custom 3D-printed crab measure for mud crabs and blue swimmers. Everything you need — except the bait.

A: Stowaway Crab pots are designed to be used in inshore areas ,creeks and rivers . Please check and follow the State Government guidelines as to what type of crab pot can be used in your State/local area.

Q: Is it suitable for commercial crabbers?
A: No — StowAway pots are designed for recreational crabbing. If you’re dropping dozens of heavy-duty commercial pots, this isn’t the right product for you.

Q: What colours are available?
A: Right now, nets are available in blue or brown depending on supply. Dry bags are currently blue or yellow, with more colours (green, pink, orange) coming down the track.

Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: Each pot weighs just under 5kg. Standard shipping across Australia is around $15 per pot. Local Brisbane customers may even score free hand delivery.

Q: Can I buy more than one pot?
A: Absolutely. Each pot is sold individually, but bundles and multi-pack deals are planned for the future.

Q: How tough are the bags as floats?
A: Very tough. They’re made from heavy-duty vinyl, designed to hold air and stay buoyant for hours. In testing, a bag floated for more than 28 hours without deflating.
